Patna, May 09, 2026 — St. Karen’s Secondary School hosted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 with great pride and solemnity today, formally inducting 50 newly appointed student leaders into the school’s Student Council. The young leaders pledged to uphold the institution’s values and lead their peers with integrity, dedication, and responsibility.

The ceremony was graced by Lieutenant Colonel Abhishek Kumar, Bihar Regimental Centre (BRC), as the Chief Guest. His inspiring presence served as a remarkable example of leadership rooted in courage, compassion, discipline, and service to the nation.

The Chief Guest, Lieutenant Colonel Abhishek Kumar, encouraged the student leaders to pursue leadership with sincerity and social responsibility. He expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm, confidence, and awareness displayed by the young Karenites and inspired them through his motivating words.

At the ceremony, Ms. Akriti Raj of Std. 12 – E was inducted as the Head Girl and Master Syed Afnan Ahmad Salik of Std. 12 - B as the Head Boy for the session 2026–27. They, along with 50 other council members, were conferred with sashes and badges — symbolic of the trust and responsibilities entrusted to them as student leaders in the presence of their parents.

The Founder and Patron of the institution, Mr. D.P. Galstaun, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of discipline, humility, and service-oriented leadership. He encouraged the students to become responsible citizens and role models who uphold the values and legacy of the institution.

Mrs. Shefali Shrivastava, Head of Academic Operations & Strategy, was also present on the occasion and congratulated the newly elected council members, motivating them to lead responsibility and character.

The ceremony concluded with the council members taking their oath, reaffirming their commitment to the Karenite values of service, discipline, and excellence.
